We enjoyed our stay at Agnus so much that we didn’t leave !!! We were going to visit Galle for the evening but stayed and enjoyed cocktails at sunset beside the pool and a delicious dinner at the in house restaurant. There was plenty to choose from, Delicious Sri Lankan curry and European for my teenage son. From the warm welcome to the stunning views we were really blown away. The manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect - Thank you. The pool bar tender was lovely and made delicious cocktails. The roof top infinity pool was stunning and the boutique nature of the hotel made our stay feel special. Our corner room had spectacular views of the Ocean and the room was clean and tidy, with a nice tiled bathroom. I highly recommend Agnus for an enjoyable place to stay. Excellent location out of the hectic Unawatuna and away from the busy centre of Galle. We had a scooter and could get to the old fort in 15 mins and Unawatuna in about 10. If you don't have your own transport this could be an issue. Otherwise staff were great...Ranjith the manager on the front desk is always happy to help with info and entertaining stories. Food was good. SriLankan Breakfast recommended. Rooftop was great to check the view and to have a dip. Very peaceful up there with a nice breeze too. The room was really well appointed and cleaned to a high standard. We stayed in August, price was very reasonable for the quality we received.

Beautiful pristine hotel. The staff were excellent we felt so looked after and they were so friendly. The pool area was very cool offering amazing views of the sea. Breakfast was tasty and dinner, while it not being too cheap, was also tasty. The room was big in size with a lovely balcony and an amazing view. Shower was very relaxing too.

Location was amazing if you want to be in a hotel with great views over the sea. Not walkable to restaurants due to steep hill. Lunch tapas delicious. Would have liked to have had dinner but nice to go out if hotel. Pool amazing.

The property was set in a picturesque landscape overlooking the Indian Ocean! The views from both the rooftop pool and our room were stunning. We would really recommend the room with panoramic views, it was so nice. The staff were so lovely and went above and beyond for us. It was my friend’s birthday and the staff were kind enough to provide her with a small cake and a bed decoration, which really made her day. The food at the restaurant was also delicious, couldn’t fault it at all. Would definitely recommend a stay.

This place is a true gem, offering breathtaking views as soon as you enter the lobby. The service is friendly, and the hotel offers free transport to the nearby Jungle beach. However, the rooftop bar and pool provide an even more peaceful and stunning experience, especially at sunset, complemented by excellent cocktails. We booked a Deluxe Double Room with a Balcony and Sea View, which was spotlessly clean and offered a beautiful sea view for a relaxing stay. The food was delicious, set in a calm atmosphere. Don't miss out on their handmade ice creams for dessert—they're some of the best in Sri Lanka. The only aspect that could be improved is the restaurant service, to make the stay even more special. Since we had an early morning flight, the thoughtful staff packed breakfast for us. This place is highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful escape with amazing views and food! We absolutely loved our stay! The staff were lovely and went above and beyond. There was one man in particular on reception who was so nice and chilled and nothing was a bother. The food was delicious. The pool was a lovely temperature and the views from the rooftop were absolutely unreal. The hotel didn't feel too busy. This was probably our favourite of five different places that we stayed in Sri Lanka.

This hotel was fabulous. The staff looked after you from arrival to departure. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the balcony's offer some beautiful views. We also ate in their restaurant and everything we got for both dinner and breakfast was delicious.

This was the seventh and last place we stayed in Sri Lanka and it was a great hotel to finish our tour. It is a 20 minute tuk tuk ride to/from the hustle and bustle of Fort Galle so was lovely to return to the quietness of Agnus. Our room was a corner one on the north side with superb views looking over the bay to Fort Galle. Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and one of the better dinners we had touring SL. Enjoyed relaxing on the roof at the infiniti pool. If going down to the Jungle Beach make sure to go to the correct beach. There are two. The one closer to the hotel much the better.

Beautiful boutique hotel made even more perfect by the extremely attentive staff. We were perfectly catered for, and the hotel manager went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. It was by far the best hotel we stayed in in Sri Lanka, and if I came again here, I would definitely come to this place. The room was large, clean, and smelled fresh, not like the other hotel we stayed in Mirissa. The bed was large and very comfortable. The hotel is situated on a hill crest and if offers an amazing view. Even the rooms marked as garden view offer a very nice view. They also offer a free tuk tuk service to go to Jungle Beach, which make it a great option if you are looking to relax by the beach. They also have a nice rooftop pool that you can relax in while admiring the sunset. Overall, it was a great hotel for a romantic getaway. We only had breakfast, but the food was good, and the prices were decent for lunch, dinner, and drinks.
